DIY Latex Corset - Perfectly fitted!

In this workshop you'll learn how to create your very own heavy duty latex corset, custom fit!

So, if you’re looking for a real challenge... then make a latex underbust corset. The corset you will create consists of two layers of thick latex and steel boning. There are many pattern pieces, so it’s quite a task! But in the end, you will have a very sturdy corset made to your own measurements!

The video is about 30 minutes long, but that doesn't mean you can make a latex corset in 30 minutes. Expect 4-8 hours or even longer for your first latex corset.

And... no talking in this video, so you can totally vibe out with your own music while you work, yeah!

With this workshop there is a basic pattern (download) to guide you, but... you have to adjust the pattern to your own measurement. A corset is always made to your own size and never in standard sizes such as 'M' or 'XL' etc.

A latex corset isn’t something you whip up in an afternoon—you’ll want to take your time to get every detail just right. It all starts with adjusting the pattern to your own measurements, which means some calculating and fine-tuning. Then comes tracing everything onto the latex (and double-checking for mistakes—trust us, there are a lot of panels!). Next, you'll cut and size the steel boning before assembling and gluing everything together. This is a full-day project, at the very least—maybe even longer for your first one. But trust us, the effort is SO worth it! Take your time & enjoy!

For who?

This technical workshop is for anyone who wants to expand their existing latex knowledge. You will learn how to glue thick layers of latex together. And also how to incorporate sturdy baleen between the layers.

Because the corset is made to your own size, a lot of calculation is involved! And there is a lot of drawing, cutting of all the panels for the corset.

You will also learn how to make a corset to your own measurements (or based on someone else's measurements).

After the course, you will be able to draw custom patterns yourself. If you want to make a corset with cups and underwires, we recommend that you also watch the latex bra workshop. You can then easily combine these techniques and knowledge into a super sturdy latex corset with cups.

For the bones we advice a grinding machine to round the ends. But you can do it by hand as wel with cutting pliers for metal and a metal file. But if you want to make more corsets... buy a small grinding machine (about ± 45/50 euro available in most hardware stores worldwide) it will save you al lot of time!

Prior knowledge

This is a technical workshop. Because the corset is made to your own size, a lot of calculation is involved! And there is a lot of drawing, cutting of all the panels for the corset.

Also there is laminating to thick layers of latex with bones in between... a huge challenge!

So this is not a project for beginners. If you are a beginner, we strongly recommend you to follow the basic workshop first. And then later this workshop for the best result. Because the basic techniques are not explained in this corset workshop.
